Some of it is a little over my head, but, I do agree that G-d wouldn't want us to be zombies and just program us into loving him, just as being a parent myself, I would not want to 'force&quot; my children into loving me either.  I would want them to come to me and love me freely and of their own free will. It just makes sence.  G-d has taught me a great deal about His love for us through raising my own kids.
